Workshop organised by Camille Rey who organised and curated the Residency at the Castle.

Camille invited the Schoolgroup „Centre Pastel“ to the Residenz at the Château de Bouillancourt-en-Séry in the North of France to show them the Castle and Christophers Projekt. The Artist gave the class a tour of the castle and its history aswell as his paintings of interiors and afterwards we asked the Children questions about their Ideas about the Castle and what they connect with it.

Each Kid could pick his / her own stoneplate from the Garden and the Artist Christopher von Gruben painted with them together on it. So each Kid could bring home a Memory on a own piece of the old Castle. Christopher was also amazed by the Drawing the Kids did together in the Diningroom of the Castle, inspired by his Work he has shown them earlier.

The Culture Programm of Château de Bouillancourt-en-Séry gives emerging and established Artist a Chance to live and create in a very special and ispiring enviroment.
